Support Engineer (m/w) !

We’re a successful, rapidly growing mobile advertising start-up with currently 50 staff members, first-rate VC backing, with a Headquater in the heart of Berlin!

We need your help to hone our ad server and the platform/front end. You’ll be in charge of the planning and management of projects and subprojects.

Responsibilities:

• Work with ad operations and partner development team to provide data access and develop tools for effective management of rich datasets
• Support evolving business needs with technology components and analytical techniques
• Work with mobile developers to evangelize and troubleshoot usage of madvertise’s SKDs, APIs and services
• Analyse and interpret system data and logs to provide insights and develop tools to optimize processes and enhance efficiency
• Attend key customer meetings where engineering support and advice is required
• Support the Tech-team to ensure the rapid and seamless technical integration of madvertise customers and business partners

Qualifications:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Detailed understanding of HTTP, REST, XML and JSON
• Experience with Ruby on Rails is desirable
• Experience with mobile or online advertising systems is desirable
• Ability to quickly grasp business requirements and understand technical solutions
• Well organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize key projects
• Quick learner; comfortable evaluating and working with new tools and technologies
• Proven track record working with internal and external customers to deliver short and long term technical projects
• Very good knowledge of English and German
• Good communication skills
• Pronounced analytical skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and start-up mentality
