Internship: PR/Marketing for Software in Munich, Germany (japanese natives)

We have a placement opening for a minimum of 8-12 months in the field of PR/Marketing for software in our headquarter in Munich, Germany.
equinux Inc develops software applications for Apple’s Mac OS X platform. Due to our clearly outlined marketing orientation and the success of our products, we intend to push forward with an offensive marketing strategy throughout the coming year.
For such purposes we would welcome your application to join our marketing, PR, support and business development team.
What is there for you to gain?
You gain the opportunity to work amongst the thick of a young and dynamic team of IT professionals, through which you will learn and extend your practical know-how in terms of software marketing and PR. You will be helping to build upon the sales channel of equinux’s software, to establish strategical contacts with corporate partners and deal with customer inquiries.
You will learn the basics of business and the IT market, methods of communication and the relevant skills needed to achieve your goals. A perfect opportunity for you to practically apply your theoretical knowledge!
Ideally, you’d enjoy participating actively within the firm, with the initiative to put forward fresh ideas and suggestions.
The qualities we expect of you:
- Academic studies or post-graduate in the fields of Business, International Management;
- Japanese as native tongue with enthusiasm to improve your german competency;
- A relatively good base knowledge of the English and German language;
- Ability to work independently and enjoy having your own responsibilities;
- Sociable nature;
- Linguistical aptness in compiling texts of various kinds;
- Interest in integrating into a team;
- Aspiration to learn.
