Product- & Presales Manager
bei ECT - European Computer Telecoms AG in München

General Responsibilities: Product and presales support of carriers worldwide, including:
- Elaboration of customer requirements
- Product specifications and roadmaps
- Product acceptance testing support
- Technical pre-sales support for our account teams.
- Writing product documentation, white papers, presentations, etc.
Your Profile:
- You should have excellent verbal and written communications skills. English language is mandatory; French and German would be appreciated.
- Proven skills in product, pre-sales tasks: you should have strong technical skills; you are reliable and enjoy taking full responsibility for your own tasks.
- You are familiar with VAS services such as, Mobile Office (IP Centrex), IVR, Ring Back Tone, pre-paid mobile/fixed, Televoting, Number Portability, Carrier Routing, Service Number Translation and Network Based Call Centers.
- You understand telecommunication networks and the related software processes and are familiar with:
- Telecommunication networks such as legacy (TDM), NGN and IMS network architecture
- SS7/ISUP, INAP and SIP protocols; as well as VoiceXML, SOAP, Diameter, Java and other data interfaces.
- You have an engineering or computer science degree and at least three years experience in product pre-sales, business development at a telecommunications equipment vendor, network provider, solutions integrator, web application provider, or equivalent consultancy firm.
- You are a positive individual with drive, ambition and the proactive hands-on ability to make things happen and solve problems creatively.
