We are looking for a
Senior Project Manager Mobile/Digital (f/m)
based at our Headquarters in Berlin.
The International Business Unit delivers traditional and mobile-based web sites, mobile messaging platforms, and mobile applications (apps). Our main clients are based in the Middle East, Spain and Italy. Our customers include major mobile operators, advertising agencies, and media companies as well as internationally recognised brands (e.g.: FMCG, automotive, and retail).
We are looking for a strong project management professional, to work in an international business environment. As the successful candidate, you will be driven and determined to meet project deadlines, work within budgets, and have high standards of quality.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planning, co-ordination, and implementation of projects (this may also include conceptual design);
- Compliance with quality goals, costs, and schedules;
- Ensuring profitability of projects (Project Controlling);
- Creating project plans, functional requirements, tender and requirements management;
- Leading and motivating project teams within the organisation;
- Regular reporting (internal and external);
- Planning, management, and conducting type acceptances with the client (on or off site);
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients from different cultural backgrounds (Multicultural Relationship Management);
- Advising clients during project acquisition, conducting technical feasibility checks (assisted by experts);
- Creating and holding presentations in front of clients;
- Responding to customer inquiries;
- Obtaining and integrating necessary information, with the assistance of a Technical Project Manager, and;
- Preparing proposals in English (ranging from 10,000 € to 1,000,000 €)
What we’re looking for is ideally someone with the following profile:
- A University degree or equivalent;
- At least two years professional experience in these areas of expertise (Web and / or Mobile);
- Team Leadership Experience and presentation skills;
- Good communication and organisation skills;
- Thrive on daily interaction with different cultures;
- Fluency in written and spoken English (German is not essential);
- Self-starting attitude;
- Innovative;
- High affinity with telecommunications products and services, and;
- The ability to work well under pressure and deliver projects on time.
Experience in mobile business (mobile web, apps, mobile messaging and mobile marketing), or previous agency experience would be advantageous.
For motivated candidates, we will also provide excellent opportunities for further development. Frequent trips outside of Europe are commonplace, and will allow you to expand your horizons.
You will report directly to the Head of the International Business Unit. This BU has recently been established, due to strong growth in these regions and growth in the overall mobile market.
