Advertising Sales Director
OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Advertising Sales Director you will be reporting to the VP Sales. You will be working closely with the Advertising Sales Manager and the Account and Project Manager. The main responsibilities of the role will include:
• Generating own leads, identifying new business opportunities and managing the entire sales process from prospecting and qualifying to closing new business
• Developing business and plan and execute sales actions for our advertising clients and the advertising and media agencies
• Providing a consultative, solution oriented sales approach and participating in the creation of innovative mobile advertising concepts
• Assessing and communicating effectively client requirements to internal project team, and prepare proposals and price quotes
• Assuming responsibility for revenue planning and budget
• Leading the german sales and account managers team
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Holder of a University degree in related disciplines (Sales, Marketing, Communication)
• Proven success track record and minimum five years of advertising sales experience in traditional and/or online and/or mobile sectors
• Extremely self motivated with the desire to build and expand market share
• Able to work independently and proactively and dedicated to deliver outstanding results
• Engaging, energetic and driven with proven leadership skills and able to motivate a team
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills
• Outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills
• Proven winner in competitive selling markets
• Must have strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent skills in MS Office
• Excellent contacts in the media and advertising industry
