TUI AG is investing in mobile for servicing the traveller, providing a convenient way to curate the customer experience and deliver exactly what the traveller needs, at exactly the moment they need it. Mobile web is a powerful channel that we need to use to augment other channels we use. As part of this initiative, TUI AG is hiring a Head of Mobile & Social (f/m).

• Working with Head of Digital Strategy to ensure that Mobile & Social are optimally integrated within the overall digital strategy for TUI AG
• Define best practice and a framework for mobile & social for TUI AG companies with focus on our Tour Operator, Hotels & Resorts and Cruises sectors
• Work together with internal / external project teams in Emerging Markets eg Russia / CIS, China, India focusing on mobile / social strategies
• Define solutions for our customers across all touch points making use of the unique value propositions of integrating mobile & social for customer engagement at source as well as destination level, hereby driving customer engagement from one channel to the other
• Define and integrate mobile & social tracking & KPIs into the overall reporting & analysis process
• Define best practice for traffic acquisition and CRM through mobile incl. aspects such as the optimisation of landing pages for mobile; simplification of the creation, management & implementation of rich mobile ads; SEO; etc
• Champion mobile requirements across the group to ensure that aspects such as content, content management, MVT, data interfaces, processes are optimised to support mobile
• Work with IT to analysis and feed into a technical integration of mobile within the overall architecture including aspects such as data; device
• Conduct hands-on audits of mobile & social initiatives in the group (eg UX:3-5-7; etc) and external benchmarking exercises

• You have either been working for a leading digital agency or head of mobile for a consumer brand or retail business
• You would be a high calibre individual with a proven track record of defining and managing mobile solutions
• You are fluent in English (spoken & written) and/or German (spoken & written) with international working approach
• You are creative as well as analytical
• You are collaborative in style, empathetic in nature, confident in content and focused on outcomes at all levels in the organisation
• You are pioneering and innovative in everything you do from delivering proposals, engaging with the client and leading delivery teams
• You understand the capability in the market, the complexity and effort required to deliver solutions and identify what will best meet business requirements in the time and budget available
• You are a great team player who firmly believes that the contribution of a good team will be better than individuals outputs
